Dr. Sudeepta Kumar Swain is a well-known Robotic Gastrosurgeon with over 15 years of experience in dealing with diseases of the GI tract, Hepatobiliary tract & Pancreas. He has completed his graduation (MBBS) and post-graduation (MS) from SCB Medical College, Cuttack, Odisha. He got his superspeciality degree in Surgical Gastroenterology from National Board, India. He has gone through fellowship and certificate courses for Minimal access surgery and Robotic Surgery.

To his credit, he has published more 30 articles in National and International journals. Many young surgeons have been trained by him for advanced minimal access surgery and Robotics.

He has an experience of more than 4000 gastrointestinal surgeries including more than 450 Robotic cases.
