Dr Vijay Kumar K is a dedicated neonatologist, working as a senior consultant Neonatologist and Pediatrician at Aspire Hospital. He has been trained in well-acclamined institutes and hospitals. Post his training he worked as a consultant at Rainbow Children's Hospital, Bangalore for more than 2 years.  His interest in neurology made him pursue a fellowship in neonatal neurology from the expertise in Imperial College London and GOSH, UK. 

He has vast experience in the management of a range of complex neonatal medical and surgical conditions including, extreme prematurity, severe IUGR, HIE (therapeutic hypothermia), PPHN, sepsis, cardiac and metabolic emergencies, NEC and other surgical emergencies, chronic lung disease and evolving neuro disabilities. He is certified and trained in Bailey neurodevelopment assessment for infants. He was actively involved in the training of postgraduate fellowship programs in Neonatology both under the National Neonatology Forum and under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and DNB Paediatrics.
