He completed his superspecialisation in Cardiovascualr & Thoracic Surgery from the prestigious Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology, Trivandrum. He was awarded Fellowship in Adult Cardiac Surgery from Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, USA.
